VIDEO: Quakes' Front Office accepts the #ALSIceBucketChallenge

Two weeks ago, it was Jon Busch. Last week, it was eight Earthquakes players. Yesterday, it was Clarence Goodson. Now, it’s team President Dave Kaval and the Earthquakes’ front office staff.

Thanks to our friends over at the Oakland Athletics, the Quakes front office was nominated for the nation-sweeping movement, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

And we’re telling you, challenge accepted.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that currently has no cure.  Ever since July 29, donations for ALS research from the #ALSIceBucketChallenge have topped over $41 million dollars.

In addition to participating in the challenge, the Quakes have donated $2,500 to the ALS Association.

Next up? Our fans. You've been challenged. Join the movement and support the cause.
