Get Earthquakes Fit is a five week program that promotes a healthy lifestyle. Students are taught ten fun games that will get them moving during lunch or at home with friends or family. They are encouraged to play these games at least twenty minutes a day. Once the five weeks are done and the program is completed, we reward the participants by having an Earthquakes player visit their school and speak to them.
This week Shea Salinas visited Millbrook Elementary School in San Jose. He spoke about his personal lifestyle and how he got to where he is today by eating healthy, exercising and studying for school. He juggled on stage and played games with the students. All participants received an autographed player card and a program certifcate.
