SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will host the 2015 Earthquakes Open Tryout, presented by 7UP, on Sunday, Jan. 25 at the Mustang Soccer Complex in Danville, Calif. for males 18 or older.
Participants will have the opportunity to make the club’s first team or the Quakes Premier Development League team. The tryout will consist of three heats between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PT. Each heat will last 90 minutes with each player on the field for a pair of 30-minute scrimmages. Scouts from the club will be on site to evaluate players.
A maximum of 200 participants will be allowed to try out. In order to sign up, players must be 18 years or older and no longer in high school. Each participant must also show proof of identification at the tryout.
Registration is $120 per person with all proceeds benefiting the Earthquakes Community Fund. All interested participants should register online by visiting www.sjearthquakes.com/opentryout. A member of the club’s front office will notify registrants about their heat information the week of January 19.
