For the second year in a row, the San Jose Earthquakes teamed up with Operation: Care and Comfort to sell tickets to the Earthquakes vs. Galaxy match at Stanford Stadium on June 27. All tickets sold will be donated to local military members and their families.
A big thank you to everyone who helped send the military to the 2015 California Clasico at Stanford Stadium! By days end, we sent 4,238 military members to the Quakes match against the LA Galaxy! Each military member sent to the match included a $1 donation to Operation: Care and Comfort. With the support of friends, family and customers, our armed forces will enjoy the magic that is the Quakes annual California Clasico!
Operation: Care and Comfort is an all-volunteer organization with one main mission – to support our troops. OCC helps send care packages to troops sending out packages to adopted units, work with professional sports teams in the Bay Area to distribute donated tickets to military families and veterans, and support through their Adopt A Military Family program.
