SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will host a commemorative Fatai Alashe Inaugural Goal Bobblehead Night, presented by Wells Fargo, on Saturday, September 12 when the club welcomes in Seattle Sounders FC at 7:30 p.m. The bobblehead will honor Quakes rookie midfielder Fatai Alashe scoring the first goal in Avaya Stadium history on March 22. The first 7,500 fans will receive a ticket upon entry to pick up their bobblehead after the match. This year marks the fifth consecutive season the Earthquakes and Wells Fargo have teamed up for a bobblehead giveaway.
Alashe was the Earthquakes first-round draft pick (No. 4 overall) in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft out of Michigan State University. His goal against the Chicago Fire on March 22 was not only the first goal in Avaya Stadium history, but the first goal of his career.
