Quincy Amarikwa's named to Wk. 6 Team of the Week after assisting on both goals in 2-2 draw

They say there are shooters, and then there are scorers. Scorers find ways to score, whether it's them doing the shooting or not. That's exactly what Quincy Amarikwa did in the Quakes' 2-2 draw with FC Dallas. In the opening minutes of the game, he sent a strong ball into the box with his left foot that ended up buried into the top right corner by Alberto Quintero on a first-time strike that inked his name in the scoresheet for the first time in his young MLS career.


Then, in the 55th minute, Quincy ran behind Chris Wondolowski on the break and perfectly weighted a pass right where Wondo pointed, and he finished with his left foot for his fourth goal in 5 games. Both his and Quintero's are nominated for MLS AT&T Goal of the Week.
