Earthquakes Midfielders Godoy, Quintero Selected to Final Panama Roster for Copa America Centenario

SAN JOSE, Calif. –
San Jose Earthquakes midfielders Anibal Godoy and Alberto Quintero have been selected to Panama’s final 23-man roster for Copa America Centenario this summer in the United States.
Panama was drawn into Group D along with Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. The top two teams will advance to the Quarterfinals following group play. After playing Bolivia in Orlando on June 6 (4 p.m. PT), Panama takes on tournament-favorites Argentina in Chicago on June 10 (6:30 p.m. PT) and Chile in Philadelphia on June 14 (5 p.m. PT).
Godoy, 26, has tallied three goals and an assist in 17 matches for the Earthquakes since joining the club last August. San Jose is 10-3-4 with Godoy in the starting lineup.


Quintero, 28, has appeared in all 11 matches for the Quakes this season, making 10 starts. He currently ranks second in goals (three) and tied for second in assists (two) among all players on the squad.
