For the last three seasons, the Quakes have donned one of the classiest, most striking primary looks in their MLS history. The now familiar kit was once uncharted territory as the club entered a new era with their 2014 rebranding which saw a new club crest, primary, and secondary kits introduced at packed San Pedro Square Market taken over by fans eager to get a glimpse of the new aesthetic of their team.
Widely appreciated and loved by the thousands of Quakes supporters that repped the colors from Buck Shaw Stadium to Avaya Stadium, the kit will surely go down as one of the team's iconic uniforms. With all that being said, it is time for a change. For the first time in their new home, the Quakes will have a new primary look and we'll unveil that as we did in 2014, with a jam-packed event at San Pedro Square Market. Here are 5 reasons you will not want to miss the official unveiling party this Thursday, Feb. 16 from 6-9pm., presented by Sutter Health*

1. Meet the team
One-to-one interaction has always been and will continue to be a main focus of the club as we move #ForwardAsOne into 2017. With a whole host of new players being signed this offseason, what better way to introduce them to our passionate fans than to give fans the chance to interact even before they see them play? New signings & other current members of the squad will be in attendance, rotating between a photo booth station & autograph station. Here's who will be hanging with us downtown:

In addition to those fans may take with the Quakes players, make sure you save some space on that camera roll for the rest of the night! The market, known for its array of flavors at lunch and dinner time, will have a distinct Quakes flavor throughout the night. From the MLS Cup trophies, to a free photo booth & Quakes signage. And oh yeah, the new kit will be on display.
3. Live band & food specials
San Francisco-based indie blues rock band
Fritz Montana
will be providing the tunes for the night. The bluesy vocal style of lead singer David Marshall mixed with guitar-driven rock and roll music behind it will surely have Quakes fans dancing, putting the new kit in motion for the first time.

I know this one may be tough because we can't reveal any details just yet - If we did that there wouldn't be a need for a party, would there? You're just going to have to trust me on this one.

Quakes fans will be proud to sport the new look not only at Avaya Stadium, but around the Bay Area and beyond. Take this chance to be the first to see and own the new jersey. There will be jealous friends and family members. (Pro tip: To avoid this, bring them along!)
5. Bragging rights
Thursday night will be your first chance to take home your very own. Season Ticket Holders will have a special window from 6-6:30 to purchase before anyone else, and after that, it's fair game for all party people at San Pedro Square. Remember, your Season Ticket Holder discount has increased to 20% off for the 2017 season. This seems like a good night to try that perk out!
