U.S. Soccer, in cooperation with the
United Heroes League
and the
Quakes Foundation
, will host a soccer equipment drive for children of military families in the Bay Area leading up to the USA-Honduras match.
Collection bins will be placed at the U.S. Soccer Store location at San Pedro Square Market from March 22-24 and at Avaya Stadium on match day. After the game, donated items will be sent to Moffett Field military base for distribution. Fans are encouraged to donate new or gently used soccer balls, cleats, shin guards, goalie gloves, and other soccer equipment.
