NEWS: Official Start Times for 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup Matches Announced

SAN JOSE, Calif. –
 The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced today the kickoff times for all 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, including the final on July 26 at Levi’s Stadium (6:30 p.m. PT).

The 14th edition of the continental championship begins Friday, July 7 at 4 p.m. PT (7 p.m. local) at Red Bull Arena in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area. That opening doubleheader features a Group A match-up of 2000 champion Canada facing newcomer French Guiana followed by Central American rivals Honduras and Costa Rica at 6:30 p.m. PT (9:30 p.m. local).
Group B starts action on Saturday, July 8 in Nashville with a rematch of the 2015 Gold Cup third-place match between USA and Panama at 1:30 p.m. PT (3:30 p.m. local). Group B also features Martinique and recently qualified Nicaragua later that afternoon at 4 p.m. PT (6 p.m. local).
Defending champion Mexico begins its title defense on Sunday, July 9 in San Diego, versus El Salvador as the second match of a doubleheader at 6:30 p.m. PT. Curacao and Jamaica will begin play in Group C in the first match of that day at 4 p.m. PT. Later that week on July 13, Gold Cup finalists Jamaica and Mexico will revisit the 2015 final in Denver at 7:30 p.m. PT (8:30 p.m. local).    
Ahead of the midweek final in the Bay Area, the semifinals will be played on Saturday, July 22 at AT&T Stadium in the Dallas metro area at 7 p.m. PT (9 p.m. local) and Sunday, July 23 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena 6 p.m. PT.

Taking place every two years, the CONCACAF Gold Cup is the official national team championship of the region and will feature some of the top players of North and Central America and the Caribbean. Drawing large crowds and millions of television viewers from across the region, the Gold Cup is a celebration of soccer, sportsmanship and culture.
The 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup is sponsored by Scotiabank, Allstate Insurance Company, Cerveza Modelo, Nike, Post Consumer Brands and Sprint. The tournament will be broadcast nationally on the Univision and FOX family of networks and transmitted on radio in Spanish by Fútbol de Primera Radio Network, and broadcast by television partners in countries around the world.
