San Jose Earthquakes - Starting XI - White and Red Kits

The San Jose Earthquakes will host a press conference on Tuesday, June 6 to present President Tom Fox to the media. The event will begin at 11 a.m. PT at Avaya Stadium.




On the field, the club has a bye week and will resume play on Wednesday, June 14 to take on the NASL’s San Francisco Deltas in the Fourth Round of the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

June 9, 2009 – Quakes Acquire Wondolowski
The Earthquakes acquired forward Chris Wondolowski and a conditional draft pick in the 2010 SuperDraft from the Houston Dynamo in exchange for forward Cam Weaver.


RENO 1868 FC UPDATE
Reno 1868 FC were eliminated from the U.S. Open Cup in the Third Round after falling 2-0 to Sacramento Republic FC last week.

The club will seek to add to its five-game unbeaten run in league play when they face Rio Grande Valley FC on Wednesday, June 7 at Greater Nevada Field. Reno will then host Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday, June 10 in their first USL matchup of the season. Both matches are scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT.


BURLINGAME DRAGONS FC UPDATE
Burlingame Dragons FC won 2-0 in their Friday matchup against Orange County SC before tying FC Golden State Force 0-0 on Sunday.

The PDL club will resume action on Friday, June 9, when they take on the Southern California Seahorses at home at 7 p.m. All match attendees will receive a free burger or slider from Maverick Jack’s, a bag of chips and drink as part of their admission ticket. ACADEMY UPDATE
The Quakes U-12s took on Star Academy FC on Saturday, earning a 3-0 win and a 2-2 draw against the opponent. The following day, the Quakes U-13s and U-14s faced Marin FC Alliance, winning by scores of 4-0 and 3-1 respectively.

Next up for the Quakes U-13s and U-14s are June 10 matchups against the San Joaquin Valley Soccer Academy youth teams. The U-17/18s will be entering the postseason as a wildcard seed and are awaiting the playoff draw, which will take place on June 7.
