The Earthquakes will hit to road this week to take on D.C. United on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m. PT in their first and only encounter with the Eastern Conference side in the 2017 MLS regular season. The match will be broadcast on NBC Sports California, KSFO 560 AM and 1370 KZSF.
The Quakes are coming off a 1-0 victory against the Houston Dynamo at Avaya Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 16, where forward Chris Wondolowski made his 251st appearance in a Quakes uniform to break the club’s all-time record set by Ramiro Corrales.

RENO 1868 FC UPDATE
The Quakes’ USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC’s seven-match unbeaten streak was snapped Saturday in Texas. The final match of Reno’s four game road series resulted in a 1-0 loss to Rio Grande Valley FC in the club’s second meeting with the team this season. Reno is now just three points away of securing a playoff spot and just two goals away from setting a new USL record for most goals in a single season.

QUAKES ACADEMY UPDATE
The Quakes Boys’ Academy enjoyed a successful weekend against the Silicon Valley Soccer Academy. The U-12s squads won 6-2 and 3-2, the U-13s won 5-0, the U-14s won 3-1, U-15s won 2-1, the U-17s won 2-0 and the U-19s won 3-1. This Saturday, the U-12 squads face the San Francisco Elite Academy, the U-13s and U-14s will face the San Joaquin Valley Soccer Academy and the U-15s, U-17s and U-19s boys will play FC Golden State. On Sunday, the U-15s, U-17s and U-19s will take on the LA Galaxy.
The Quakes Girls’ Academy had a busy weekend against the West Coast Futbol Club and LA Galaxy San Diego. On Saturday, the U-14s won 3-2, the U-15s won 2-1, the U-17s tied 1-1 and the U-19s fell 4-0 against West Coast Futbol Club. On Sunday, the U-14s tied 1-1, the U-15s fell 4-2, the U-17s fell 2-0 and the U-19s tied 2-2 against LA Galaxy San Diego. The girls will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 7 against La Roca Futbol Club.
