FEATURE: Chris Wondolowski now tied for third on the MLS all-time goal scoring list

The legend of Chris Wondolowski continues.


During Wednesday’s match against the Chicago Fire, the club captain scored his 133rd career MLS goal, tying him with D.C. United legend  Jaime Moreno for third most in the league’s history.

Wondolowski, who tallied in the 87th minute against Chicago, is just one goal behind Jeff Cunningham for second-all time. Former Quakes forward Landon Donovan sits atop the all-time goal scorers list with 145. 

The Danville native has tallied 12 goals in 2017, 10 of which have been in front of of the San Jose faithful at Avaya Stadium. With just three games left on the season, look for Wondolowski to continue his climb up the all-time MLS goals chart.
