In the Driver’s Seat

Costa Rica comes off an epic draw against Honduras to book their place at the 2018 World Cup. Securing one point was all that was needed as Costa Rica mathematically finish second place with one game remaining. Costa Rica can thank Kendall Waston's clutch extra time equalizer.
Automatic qualification was no surprise for Costa Rica thanks to Marco Ureña’s emphatic performances against the U.S. and Mexico one month prior. Nonetheless, Los Ticos will need to keep focused and see out the Hex with a good result. They next face Panama, who need a win for a shot at automatic qualification.
