The 2018 FIFA World Cup groups are set.
On Friday morning, Marco Urena and Costa Rica were placed into Group E of the tournament where they’ll face Brazil, Switzerland and Serbia. Urena was instrumental in La Sele qualifying after scoring a brace in a 2-0 win against the United States on Sept. 1 and a goal in a 1-1 draw against Mexico on Sept. 6.
Anibal Godoy and Panama were one of the last countries selected Friday morning, placed into Group G along with Belgium, England and Tunisia. This will be the country’s first-ever World Cup appearance, qualifying in dramatic fashion in October.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup is set to kickoff on June 14, 2018. The final is set for July 15, 2018.
