Three Peat Complete.

On Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia, Quakes Academy alumni Amir Bashti and Arda Bulut, along with their fellow Stanford Cardinal teammates, defeated the Indiana Hoosiers en route to their third-straight NCAA National Champhionship crown. Redshirt Junior Sam Werner played the role of hero for the Cardinal, finishing inside the 18-yard box the second overtime to seal the victory for Stanford.

Bashti, a junior midfielder for the Cardinal, came on as a substitute in the victory. The Cupertino native ended the 2017 campaign with six goals and two assists, his best single-season statline since arriving at Stanford in 2015. Bulut, a freshman striker, didn't make an appearance during this year's Final Four at Talen Energy Stadium. The Los Gatos native featured in nine games for the Cardinal during his freshman season.
