USWNT - U-15 - Andrea Kitahata

The San Jose Earthquakes Girls’ Academy was named one of the best girls soccer clubs in 2017 by TopDrawerSoccer. The website tallied the clubs with the most players called up to girls and women’s youth national teams at the U-15 through U-18 levels during the past 18 months, or since the new cycles started after the 2016 Women’s Youth World Cups.

With five players called up in that period, the Quakes Girls’ academy ranked tied for No. 10 on the list. Sophie Jones, Jadyn Shinn, Maya Evans, Andrea Kitahata and Kayleen Gowers all represented the Quakes at the national level.

Jones is continuing the trend into 2018, and is currently with the U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team, having received a call up to the training camp from Jan. 10-19 in Bradenton, Fla.
