Earthquakes defender Florian Jungwirth is coming off his first season in Major League Soccer in which he was named the club’s Defensive Player of the Year. Rather than resting on his laurels, Jungwirth is pushing forward to have an even better season in 2018.
While some players around the league may be enjoying their offseason by taking long holidays (which they’re fully entitled to do), Jungwirth has been working hard on the field back in his home country. On Wednesday morning, German side TSV 1860 Munich tweeted a photo of ‘Flo’ and Munich midfielder Timo Gebhart getting their kicks in at training.
