SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes today announced their full 2018 preseason schedule. Among the highlights are a friendly against USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC, a showdown with the rival LA Galaxy and a 10-day training camp in the desert.


The Earthquakes will host an open training session, complete with the Black and Blue Scrimmage, on Saturday, Jan. 27. The training session and intrasquad match will be open exclusively to Quakes Season Pass Holders, who can watch many of the team’s new players take the field at Avaya Stadium for the first time. Tickets to the match, while complimentary, will have to be claimed via the Earthquakes Account Manager.


Two days after the match, the Quakes will depart for an extended stay in Tucson, Arizona. San Jose will train in the sunshine and take on the Portland Timbers and Real Salt Lake on January 31 and February 7, respectively, at Kino Sports Complex.


Upon returning to San Jose, the Earthquakes and Reno 1868 FC will play at Avaya Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. Main bowl general admission tickets are $20 for Season Pass Holders ($30 for the general public) and club general admission tickets are $50 for Season Pass Holders ($60 for the general public). Parking for this preseason event is $10.


Quakes Season Pass Holders can purchase their tickets now through their Fan Relations Specialist or by calling (408) 556-7700, and pressing 0. All other fans can purchase their tickets beginning Friday, January 12 at 10 a.m. by clicking here.


The Quakes will then take on the LA Galaxy at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif. on Saturday, Feb. 17, before wrapping up the preseason with a closed-door friendly against Reno 1868 FC on Thursday, Feb. 22 at Avaya Stadium.
