NEWS: Earthquakes to Unveil Jersey at Hornet Field on February 11

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will unveil their new jersey and mini-pitch at Hornet Field in Alameda, Calif. on Sunday, Feb. 11, presented by Sutter Health, during a day filled with activities for fans of all ages. The event will start at 10 a.m. and will conclude at 3 p.m., with the unveil taking place between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Fans will be able to enjoy several activities at the unveil, which will feature two mini-fields, an inflatable goal and slide, a Quakes photo booth and food trucks. The giant SJ74 letters will also be onsite, along with many other activites.

The Quakes Foundation will also unveil their second mini-pitch in the Bay Area at the event, provided in collaboration with the U.S. Soccer Foundation. The mini-pitch at Hornet Field will offer children and adolescents in Alameda a safe place to play, and will be accessed and used by members of Alameda Soccer Club. Alameda Soccer Club will also host weekend Futsal matches, league play and tournaments. The Alameda Boys & Girls Club will also utilize the new field and benefit from the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s Soccer for Success program.

Fans should arrive in anticipation of the exciting unveil, poised to include many surprises and taking place between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Quakes players will be at the event to help unveil the jersey, sign autographs and take photos with fans. Earthquakes Season Pass Holders can take advantage of a 20 percent discount on team merchandise.
