The Quakes completed in two preseason matches last week, playing to a 1-1 draw against Real Salt Lake in Tucson, Ariz. on Wednesday, and defeating their USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC 4-0 at Avaya Stadium on Saturday.
On Sunday, the Quakes unveiled their new Navy SEAL Foundation Jersey at an event at Hornet Field in Alameda, Calif. Pulling along the side of the Bay in a military rescue boat, retired Navy SEAL Dan O’Toole jumped out of the moving vessel and swam to shore. Upon reaching dry land and stepping on the stage in front of 1,000 fans, he removed his wetsuit top to give the public their first glimpse of the new kit. The Earthquakes continue their preseason this week, with a match against the LA Galaxy in Irvine, Calif. at Orange County Great Park.
