Earlier this month, San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Vako was called up to the Georgia National Team for international friendlies against Lithuania and Estonia. Georgia are hosting both matches at Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Vako started in the 4-0 win against Lithuania, scoring a goal before being substituted off in the 83rd minute. Vako currently holds 30 caps with the Georgia National Team in which he has tallied seven goals and four assists.
Vako will continue his international duties with Georgia when they face Estonia on Tuesday, March 27.
