With the NYCFC coming to town this Saturday, Earthquakes fans having been keeping an eye on the status of New York superstar David Villa after missing the last two matches due to injury.
The question of him playing at Avaya Stadium seemed to be put to rest Wednesday afternoon when both Villa and the club posted about the designated player's return to the team on social media.
Costa Rican international Rodney Wallace is also expected to return.
