FEATURE: Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Fourth-Round Draw to Take Place Thursday

The draw for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round will take place tomorrow, Thursday, May 24 at 8 a.m. PT. It will be live steamed on ussoccer.com and via Facebook Live (@OfficialOpenCup).

The Third Round wraps up tonight with a slate of matches scheduled, including Reno 1868 FC vs. Sacramento Republic FC at 7:30 p.m. Following last night’s contest between North Carolina FC (4) and Ocean City Nor'easters (1), there are currently 23 non-MLS teams still active in the competition, including 15 from USL, four from NPSL, two from PDL and two others.

Last season, the San Jose Earthquakes had their best run since 2004, winning three consecutive matches en route to the Semifinals. After scoring first in Kansas City, the Quakes ultimately forced overtime and penalty kicks before falling to Sporting, the eventual champions.
