SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Quakes Foundation will host its inaugural Shake, Rattle & Hold ‘em Poker Tournament on Friday, July 20 at the Club Auto Sport from 6-10 p.m., with a cocktail hour from 5-6 p.m. The proceeds from the tournament will go to the Quakes Foundation, benefitting underserved youth in the community. The tournament will feature local celebrities, giving fans the opportunity to play alongside their favorite athletes in the Bay Area while helping a good cause.

Celebrity guests will include Quakes midfielders Jahmir Hyka, Florian Jungwirth and Tommy Thompson, along with current Quakes assistant coach and decorated retired MLS player Steve Ralston.  National Soccer Hall of Famer, two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion and two-time Olympic gold-medalist Brandi Chastain will also attend, along with Santa Clara University’s women’s soccer head coach Jerry Smith. Other surprise guests will also be in attendance.


Each table will feature a celebrity player with the winners advancing to the final. The finalists will select prizes depending on their placement in the championship. This exclusive event will provide guests with plenty of entertainment for the entire night, including a silent auction and casino games, with gaming provided by Blue Dog Events. Players and guests will also be treated to appetizers and cocktails.
