Last week, the Earthquakes acquired forward Dominic Oduro in a trade with the Montreal Impact. Oduro, 32, ranks top-40 in Major League Soccer history in games played (341 – 14th), shots (496 – 25th) and goals scored (63 – 36th) since entering the league in 2006. He is one of 28 players in league history to record 60+ goals (63) and 30+ assists (32) in his career.

Earthquakes Acquire Forward Dominic Oduro in Trade with Montreal
The San Jose Earthquakes announced that the club has acquired pacy forward Dominic Oduro from the Montreal Impact in exchange for forward Quincy Amarikwa. Montreal also retains a percentage of Oduro’s budget charge for the 2018 season. “I would like to thank Quincy and wish him and his family the best of luck in Montreal,” said Earthquakes general manager Jesse Fioranelli. “We look forward to welcoming Dominic to San Jose. Sophie Jones, Mia Fontana Called Up to U-17 U.S. WNT
San Jose Earthquakes Girls’ Academy midfielder Sophie Jones and forward Mia Fontana have been called up by U-17 U.S. WNT head coach Mark Carr for camp in California and two games in South Korea. The camp and friendly matches come in preparation for the 2018 U-17 Women's World Cup, which will take place in Uruguay in November. Jones is one of 13 players on the 24-player roster that helped the USA qualify for the World Cup by winning the 2018 Concacaf U-17 Women’s Championship in June. Read the full story here.

The San Jose Earthquakes announced that Avaya Stadium will host a friendly match between Mexican sides Chivas and Pumas de la UNAM on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. An exclusive presale for Earthquakes Season Pass Holders will begin on Friday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. PT before being made available to the general public on Monday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. PT.
