RECAP: Earthquakes Complete 17-Day Training Camp with Friendly in Reno

RENO, Nev. â€“ The San Jose Earthquakes concluded their 17-day training camp with a friendly against their USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC on Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0. The Earthquakes have trained in Cancún, Mexico since Jan. 24 and arrived in Northern Nevada on Friday night.


Twenty-five Quakes players saw action in today’s match, with goalkeepers Matt Bersano and JT Marcinkowski each playing 45 minutes for Reno. Defenders Nick Lima and Marcos Lopez both made their first Earthquakes appearance of 2019 after joining the team late from national team duty.


The Quakes will now return to San Jose before traveling to Los Angeles to face LAFC on Saturday, Feb. 16.
