The San Jose Earthquakes Boys’ U-17 squad finished with a record of 1-2-2 in group play of the 2019 Generation adidas Cup. The Quakes defeated the Portland Timbers 1-0 and fell to Ulsan Hyundai FC and FC Midtjylland. San Jose also tied Orlando City SC and the Houston Dynamo, but would defeat both clubs in penalty shootouts.The U-13 squad were crowned champions of the LA Galaxy Cup that took place from April 17-21. The Quakes won 3-0 against LA Galaxy San Diego, defeated Pacific Northwest Soccer Club 3-0, earned a 7-0 shutout win over Arsenal FC, and defeated Pateadores 2-0 in the final.The Quakes Boys’ Academy are set for fixtures against Santa Rosa United on Saturday, April 27. The Quakes Girls’ Academy will be in Commerce City, Colo. to take part in the 2019 Development Academy Spring Showcase that will run from April 26-30. The Girls’ Academy will take on the Charlotte Soccer Academy, the Washington Spirit Academy - Maryland, Michigan Jaguars FC, the Cincinnati Development Academy, New York City FC, Pateadores, and Weston FC. The U-15s’ match against the Cincinnati Development Academy on Sunday, April 28 has been selected as a feature game and will be streamed onFacebook, Twitterand YouTube.
