NEWS: Special Olympics-San Jose Earthquakes Unified Soccer Try-out

Special Olympics Northern California (SONC) and the San Jose Earthquakes (SJQ) are teaming up for their third season of MLS Unified Soccer. The SONC-SJQ Unified team is equally made up of individuals with special needs (Unified Athlete) and without (Unified Partner).


The team will be selected after a try-out day, and then will proceed to have weekly practices to prepare for one home game and one travel game. The games are matched against other MLS franchises’ Unified Soccer teams.


Age requirement

Athletes and Partners must be between the age of 16-25. The team will be co-ed.


When

Try-outs are on Saturday, May 18th from 10 AM- 12 at Bellarmine High School soccer field, 960 W Hedding St, San Jose 95126.
