Earthquakes midfielder Vako named MLS Player of the Week
San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Vako has been named the MLS Player of the Week for Week 17. Vako scored two goals in San Jose’s 2-0 win over the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday, June 26 before registering one goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over the LA Galaxy on Saturday, June 29. He tallied the game-winning goal in both matches and helped extend San Jose’s unbeaten streak to six (4-0-2). Read the full story

Jack's Bar and Lounge hosting viewing party for Quakes vs. Minnesota United on July 3
On Wednesday, July 3, the Earthquakes will host a viewing party for their next match against Minnesota United at Jack's Bar and Lounge in Japantown. The event will start at 4:30 p.m. with the Quakes match kicking off at 5:00 p.m. Jack's Happy Hour will last throughout the match. Quakes Brand Ambassadors will also be at Jack's Bar and Lounge to provide fans with giveaways. Find out more

Quakes sign Mexican Winger Carlos Fierro
The San Jose Earthquakes announced on Tuesday, June 25 that the club has signed Mexican winger Carlos Fierro using Targeted Allocation Money, pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and ITC. Fierro made 64 appearances under current Earthquakes head coach Matias Almeyda (2015-18) and 11 under Quakes assistant coach Benjamin Galindo (2013) while competing for Chivas de Guadalajara.
