Reno 1868 FC earned a 5-0 win over Tacoma Defiance on Tuesday at Greater Nevada Field, and a 2-1 road win over Austin Bold FC on Sunday at Bold Stadium, marking consecutive wins for the first time since July 27/Aug. 3.

Forward Danny Musovski had record night on Tuesday, becoming the first 1868 FC player in franchise history to tally four goals in a single match. Musovski scored each of his goals in the first half and was also credited with the assist on midfielder Seth Casiple’s goal in the 27th minute.

Defender Brent Richards recorded a hat-trick of assists on Tuesday, creating scoring chances for Musovski in the fourth, 26th and 41st minutes of the match.

Quakes goalkeeper Matt Bersano saved a penalty kick in the 47th minute to preserve his third shutout of the season.

Sunday’s win over Austin Bold FC marked 1868 FC’s first road win since August 3. Forward Corey Hertzog struck first for Reno, converting a penalty kick in the 20th minute. Five matches remain in Reno’s regular-season schedule, including Friday’s (Sept. 20) road match against New Mexico United at Isotopes Park. Friday’s match in Albuquerque is set for 6:30 p.m. PT and will be streamed on ESPN+.
