The San Jose Earthquakes and Wells Fargo have raised $26,000 for the Goals for Education Fund, which provides scholarships for Santa Clara County High School students enrolling in two or four-year colleges.
Through the Quakes partnership with Wells Fargo, for every goal the San Jose Earthquakes scored during the 2019 MLS regular season, Wells Fargo donated $500 to the Goals for Education Fund.
The Quakes scored 52 goals this season, with Chris Wondolowski leading the team with 15.
