NEWS: Earthquakes Goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski Called to U.S. U-23 National Team

SAN JOSE, Calif. â€“ San Jose Earthquakes Homegrown goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski is among 24 players called by United States U-23 National Team head coach Jason Kreis for the United International Football Festival in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The U.S. will face Brazil on Thursday, Nov. 14 and then play Argentina or Chile in the final or third-place match of the four-team tournament on Sunday, Nov. 17.


Marcinkowski, 22, recently concluded his second season as a professional after signing a Homegrown Player contract with the Quakes in 2018 following three years at Georgetown University. He made 16 appearances on loan with the club’s USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC this year, making 63 saves and keeping four shutouts. Marcinkowski received USL Championship Team of the Week honors in Week 17, and was named USL Championship Player of the Week in Week 31.


Marcinkowski is one of only two players to feature in all U.S. U-23 matches this year.
