Earthquakes Sign SuperDraft Pick Jack Skahan

The Quakes announced that the club has signed SuperDraft pick Jack Skahan to a multi-year contract. Skahan was selected in the second round of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft and will now be placed on the team’s roster. The Memphis, Tenn. native traveled with the first team to Cancún, Mexico for their two-week preseason trip, in which he tallied one goal and one assist in two preseason friendlies. Earthquakes Announce Local Broadcast Information for 2020 Season

The Quakes announced their local television and radio broadcast schedule for the 2020 Major League Soccer season. NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California will televise 24 matches in 2020, with Telemundo 48 providing coverage on three others. The Quakes also welcome back KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF ‘La Kaliente’ for radio coverage during the 2020 season, with select matches moving to KNBR 680. Read more here

The club announced a series of enhancements for Earthquakes Stadium starting in the 2020 MLS season. Upgrades and improvements include auditory assistance for fans with hearing challenges, roaming beer vendors, and new artwork. Find out more here


MLS Partners with Advanced Data Tracking System

MLS announced that advanced player tracking data is coming to the league, thanks to a partnership with Second Spectrum. This new technology allows Second Spectrum to capture data on various aspects of the game, such as player locations, referee locations and the ball, 25 times per second.
