On Monday, March 9th the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department issued a ban on gatherings larger than 1,000 persons. Thus, the annual Lam Research Hearts & Soles Run event is no longer allowed. However, the event organizers are still excited to still put on a fun virtual run to achieve our goals of supporting local youth health and fitness programs!
The virtual run will take place from March 28th – April 5th, and proceeds from this event will go to supporting the Quakes Foundation.
You can complete your run on your own or with friends at the time and place of your choosing. They will provide a few suggested courses with 6K and 10K distances or you can create a course of your own. Post a picture on Instagram in your shirt, bib, and medal with your finish time, and be sure to use our hashtag for prizes!
Registration is open for the Virtual 6K/10K registration so encourage your family and friends to join you! More details regarding Packet Pick-up, prizes, courses and more will be communicated in our “Virtual” race Day Details email.
