Quakes Foundation, United Farm Workers Create Charity Shop for Relief Efforts
The Quakes Foundation and United Farm Workers joined forces by creating a charity initiative to benefit Quakes Foundation and United Farm Workers programming amid the ongoing pandemic. Limited-time apparel is now available, with proceeds from sales to go to UFW COVID-19 relief efforts. Earthquakes, Wells Fargo to Present $26,000 in Goals for Education Scholarships to 17 College-bound Seniors
The San Jose Earthquakes, Wells Fargo, and Silicon Valley Education Foundation will be presenting 17 Santa Clara County college-bound seniors each with $1,500 scholarships to help support their STEM-focused academic careers as part of the Goals for Education program. All 17 students are the first in their family to go to college, with 16 recipients attending a four-year university despite the uncertainty of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
