What do I need to know about Chivas?

C.D. Guadalajara is known as one of Mexico's most successful teams with 12 Liga MX titles. Founded in 1906, Chivas has always held true to its tradition of fielding only all-Mexican lineups. The Rebaño Sagrado have also proved their dominance across CONCACAF claiming two Champions Cup trophies.

The Return of Cade Cowell

Former Quakes youth phenom Cade Cowell returns home to the Bay Area. This will be his first match playing against the Quakes with his new team of Chivas. What do I need to know about the Quakes and Galaxy beef?

While the Galaxy started as one of the founding members of the MLS, the beef between these two teams was instantaneous. Two Californian rivals that ignited the North vs South, the Bay vs LA rivalry that extends to all sports was now in the professional soccer world. With players being traded back and forth and last-minute victories, this rivalry is one for the ages.
