SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes have surpassed 30,000 tickets sold for their regular-season contest vs. Los Angeles Football Club at Levi’s Stadium on Saturday, May 4 (4:30 p.m. PT), presented by Audi.

After more than 45,000 fans packed Levi’s Stadium last season to witness the Quakes win a 2-1 thriller over LAFC, this year’s highly awaited edition of the match will see the venue opened to full capacity for the largest Cinco de Mayo Weekend celebration on the West Coast.

“We’re so excited to be putting on this marquee event at Levi’s Stadium and bringing Northern California an unforgettable gameday experience on Cinco de Mayo weekend,” said Earthquakes President Jared Shawlee. “Having so many of our great fans come out for the match promises to create an incredible game atmosphere.”

The event kicks off with a Fan Fest featuring Mexico National Team legend Oswaldo Sánchez, Reynoso and Soltero of The Give N Go Podcast, social media sensations San Jose Foos, and other influencers and celebrities. The Fan Fest will open to fans at 1:30 p.m. PT just outside Gate A and will conclude prior to kickoff at 4:30 p.m. PT.

Hosted by Telemundo 48’s Carlos Yustis, the Fan Fest will also include a live performance from San Jose natives Sueñatrón, music from DJ Chuy Gomez, lucha libre from Pro Wrestling Revolution, food celebrating Mexican culture, and more.

At halftime fans will enjoy a musical performance from award-winning Regional Mexican group Marca MP, who got their start in Northern California. Founded in 2018 in Modesto, California, Marca MP is currently comprised of Pedro “El Chato” Vargas, Esteban Salcedo, Diógenes Bojórquez, and Julio Torres. The group boasts 6.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and won Best Collaboration at the 2023 Latin American Music Awards as well as the 2022 Premios de la Radio for their single “Ya Acabó”.

Sánchez is regarded by many as one of the best goalkeepers in Mexican history. His achievements include the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup Golden Glove, three Liga MX titles (2006, 2008, 2012), holding the record for most penalty shots saved in the Mexican Primera División (25), and two Concacaf Gold Cup championships (1996, 2003). Sánchez represented Mexico in 99 appearances and three FIFA World Cups (1998, 2002, 2006).

Reynoso and Soltero founded The Give N Go podcast in November of 2021, with the goal to spread their love and passion for the sport while speaking about the game with an insightful and objective point of view. The podcast has amassed over 300,000 combined followers on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with the latter account approaching 11 million likes.

Tickets for the match are included with all full-season packages, which also provide access to every regular-season match at PayPal Park, the California Clásico at Stanford Stadium, and the first two home matches of the all-new Leagues Cup, with this year’s game against LIGA MX’s Club Deportivo Guadalajara (Chivas) also at Levi’s Stadium. Season-ticket benefits also include a complimentary subscription to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV ($99 value), discounts on food trucks and merchandise, and free tickets to away matches.
