Building Momentum

The Earthquakes head into Saturday’s match following a 3-1 win against Western Conference leaders FC Dallas. The Quakes are undefeated in three consecutive matches against Dallas dating back to April 2017.


Strong Record

Dating back to 2008, the Quakes have only lost to Colorado four times in 24 encounters, holding a 10-4-10 record.


Player to Watch

Following the Quakes’ last match, Vako became just the second player to score two or more goals in a match against FC Dallas in the 2018 MLS regular season (Josef Martinez, Atlanta). Vako has now tallied six goals and four assists in just 22 appearances this season.

The Quakes are one of two teams in the West to defeat Western Conference leaders FC Dallas in the 2018 MLS regular season (Real Salt Lake).


Ending the Streak

The Quakes are the first team to defeat FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium in MLS regular season play since July 29, 2017, when they lost to Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Gilbert Fuentes called to U-17 MNT for a pair matches against Mexico, Costa Rica

Gilbert Fuentes and the U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team will embark on an international training camp featuring four games in San Jose, Costa Rica from Aug. 2-13, where the USA will play Concacaf counterparts Mexico and Costa Rica two times apiece. The USA will first face Mexico on Aug. 6, followed by Costa Rica on Aug. 7. After two days of rest, the U-17 MNT will face Los Ticos on Aug. 10 before concluding with El Tri on the 12th. Read the full story here.


Kickoff Time, TV Broadcast for Sept. 19 Match vs. Atlanta Changed

The San Jose Earthquakes announced that the club’s home match against Atlanta United FC on Wednesday, Sept. 19 will now kick off at 7:45 p.m. PT instead of the originally scheduled 7:15 p.m. PT. The match will also no longer air on local television and will be shown nationally on UniMas and streamed in English on Twitter. Read the full story here.


Earthquakes to Host Seventh Annual Wine and Dine Event October 19

The San Jose Earthquakes announced that the club will host the seventh annual Wine and Dine with the Quakes event on Friday, Oct. 19 from 6-10 p.m. PT at the Boulder Ridge Golf Club in San Jose. All proceeds will benefit the Quakes Foundation, which works to facilitate unity through sport and support programs that produce positive change for children and families in the community with an emphasis on health and fitness.
