Ahead of David Bingham’s first U.S. National team cap against Canada, we look back at the most notable moments of his young professional career in San Jose. 



How he came to San Jose: Signed with MLS as a Generation adidas player following the 2011 MLS SuperDraft and landed in San Jose after a weighted lottery on Jan. 26, 2011.


First Start: 10/8/11 - Played 90 minutes and made four saves in the Quakes 2-1 win against the New England Revolution at Buck Shaw Stadium.


First Goal: 7/12/11 - Notched a 90-yard wonder goal against visiting Premier League side West Bromwich Albion at Buck Shaw Stadium, the first and only tally of his career.



First Shutout: 10/26/13 - Earned his first career shutout in the Quakes 1-0 win at FC Dallas. 


Career High in Saves: 3/14/15 - Compiled a career-high seven saves in the Quakes 3-2 win against Seattle Sounders FC, helping the team earn their first win of the 2015 season. 


Representing his Country: 1/8/16 - Added to the United States Men’s National Team roster for the January Training Camp in Carson.
