San Jose Earthquakes midfielders Cordell Cato and Darwin Ceren along with forward Marco UreƱa have been called to their respective national teams.


Cato will join the Trinidad and Tobago National Team for a pair of 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Panama on March 24, where he will face fellow Earthquakes Anibal Godoy and Harold Cummings, and Mexico on March 28. Both games will take place at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Cato, 24, has made 21 appearances for T&T, scoring three goals. Cato most recently featured in a pair of 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches, playing 75 minutes in the 2-0 loss to Costa Rica on Nov. 11 and the full 90 minutes in the 3-1 loss to Honduras on Nov. 15, 2016.
Ceren will join the El Salvador National Team for two friendly matches. On March 22, El Salvador will face the Curacao National Team at Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad, Curacao. The team will then face CD Olympia from the Honduras Professional National League, the highest division of soccer in Honduras, on March 26. The match will kick off at 2 p.m. PT in BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Ceren, 27, most recently joined El Salvador for the Central American Cup where he helped Los Cuscatlecos earn a place in the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He captained and played the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 loss to Honduras, and played full matches against Belize (3-1 win), Panama (1-0 loss) and Nicaragua (1-0 win).
UreƱa joins the Costa Rica National team for two 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Mexico on March 24 in Mexico Cityā€™s Estadio Azteca and Honduras on March 28 at Francisco Morazan Stadium in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Costa Rica currently sit on top of the Hexagonal group.
UreƱa, 27, has represented Costa Rica at the U-17, U-20 and senior team levels. Since making his senior team debut at 19 years old in 2009, he has tallied 10 goals and three assists in 45 appearances. He also played in four of the teamā€™s five matches at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and scored one minute into his appearance off the bench in a 3-1 win against Uruguay. He played a critical role in the team reaching the quarterfinals of the prestigious tournament, before falling to the Netherlands in penalty kicks.
