ACADEMY UPDATE: May 14, 2018

Quakes Academy - 2018

On Saturday, May 12, the Boys' Academy took on Silicon Valley Soccer Academy. The U-13s won 5-2, U-14s lost 2-0, U-15s won 4-2, U-17s won 4-1 and the U-19s tied 1-1.

The Boys' Academy teams will take on Sacramento Republic FC this Saturday, May 19. Times and locations for the matches can be found here.

Last week, the Girls' Academy teams traveled to Seattle to take on Crossfire Premier on Saturday and Reign Academy on Sunday. On Saturday, the U-14s won 1-0, U-15s won 7-0, U-17s lost 2-1 and the U-19s lost 6-0. On Sunday, the U-14s lost 3-0, U-15s won 3-1, U-17s won 4-2 and the U-19s lost 3-1.

The Girls' Academy Teams will take on Lamorinda Soccer Club on Saturday, May 19. Times and locations for the matches can be found here.

In other news, the U-15 Girls' Academy squad will advance to the playoffs after clinching the first place seed in the Development Academy's Northwest Conference. The U-17 Girls' Academy squad will also advance to the playoffs after clinching the second place seed in the Northwest Conference.

Quakes Academy Defender JJ Foe Nuphaus completed his call-up to the U-19 Men's National Team, earning a third place finish in the Slovakia Cup following a 3-0 win over Azerbaijan. Foe Nuphaus helped the U-19s post a 3-1-0 record in the tournament, finishing with three starts and one clean sheet.
