The Quakes Community Coaching Course, presented by Udemy, was developed in partnership with Positive Coaching Alliance and welcomes a select group of applicants from diverse backgrounds across the Bay Area to participate in the eightsession program.
Participants will receive individualized coaching from Quakes Academy staff and Club Ambassador Shea Salinas, along with leadership courses offered through Udemy. The curriculum explores essential coaching topics, including developing a style of play, fostering a positive team culture, planning a season, and designing progressive training sessions.

- The Quakes Foundation will contribute toward a subsequent coaching license.
- Participants receive a San Jose Earthquakes jersey.
- Complimentary tickets are provided for select San Jose Earthquakes and Quakes II games.
- One participant will be chosen by staff to join the First Team for an away match experience.
Applicant Criteria
- Coaches or community members supporting underresourced or underserved communities.
- All genders are encouraged to apply.
- At least one year of coaching experience or strong coaching aspirations.
- Able to commute to PayPal Park about once a month.
