In Good Company

Earthquakes forward Danny Hoesen is one of six players who have at least six goals and two assists in the 2018 MLS regular season (Bradley Wright-Phillips, David Villa, Carlos Vela, Alberth Elis and Miguel Almiron).


Chasing the Golden Boot

Earthquakes forward Danny Hoesen has taken 43 shots this season, fifth most in MLS. He is also ranked second in the league for shots on goal with 20. His six goals are just two shy of league leaders Bradley Wright-Phillips, David Villa, Josef Martinez and Gyasi Zardes, who each have eight.


Never Say Die

In matches between the two teams, the Quakes have scored 32 percent of their goals in the final 15 minutes of the match (14 of 43 total goals).


Panamaniacs at the World Cup

Quakes players Anibal Godoy and Harold Cummings joined Panama’s training camp following the match against LA as they both have been named to Panama’s provisional roster leading up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.


Putting Out the Fire

Despite playing in different conferences, forward Chris Wondolowski has the second most shots on goal (24) against the Chicago Fire among active players (Kei Kamara, 31).

Earthquakes to Play Portland Timbers in U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round

The San Jose Earthquakes will take on the Portland Timbers in the Fourth Round of the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, June 6 at Providence Park in Portland. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. The Quakes hold a 17-14 all-time record in U.S. Open Cup play. Last season was the Quakes’ deepest run in the tournament since 2004, reaching the Semifinals following three consecutive wins against the SF Deltas (2-0), Seattle Sounders FC (2-1) and the LA Galaxy (3-2). Eight Quakes Players Nominated for 2018 MLS All-Star Team

Eight San Jose Earthquakes players have been nominated for the 2018 MLS All-Star team: goalkeeper Andrew Tarbell, defender Nick Lima, midfielders Magnus Eriksson, Anibal Godoy, Florian Jungwirth and Vako, and forwards Danny Hoesen and Chris Wondolowski. Quakes to Host Pride Night during Major League Soccer’s Inaugural Soccer For All Month

The San Jose Earthquakes joined Major League Soccer today in announcing Soccer For All month, taking place throughout June. Clubs across the league will conduct activations during the month to foster more inclusive communities, with the Quakes hosting Pride Night on June 9 for the match against LAFC at 7:15 p.m., presented by Wells Fargo. The Soccer For All platform signifies that everyone is welcome to MLS, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.  To join the conversation, fans are encouraged to use #SoccerForAll on social media. Avaya Stadium will host a friendly match between Mexican sides Club AmĂ©rica and Monarcas Morelia on Sunday, July 8, as part of Tour Aguila. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. An exclusive presale for Earthquakes Season Pass Holders will begin on Thursday, May 24 at 10 a.m. PT before being made available to the general public on Tuesday, May 29 at 9 a.m. PT.
